A British Army Rifle Regiment Officers Pattern 1827 Sword, plated hilt with regimental motif, fish skin wired grip, slightly curved single fullered etched blade with metal scabbard, manufactured by W. Jones & Co London.
Lot 1236 - scabbard - small dents, discolour, corrosion, does not appear bent, blade small rubs, scratches, slight tarnishing, handle obvious losses, nicks, etc. Five holes in the fish skin, the blade is 82.5cm long and the scabbard 84.5cm long, no jiggle, the grips wires are intact.
