An 18th century Chinese export porcelain shaped circular platter, decorated in the famille rose palette with two birds by a flowering tree and kakiemon blue glaze river, the canted sides with four small floral groups, 14 5/8 in. (37.2cm.) diameter; together with a Chinese export famille rose dish, with floral decoration within a band of flower heads and stems, the edge with flowerheads within a rouge du feu band, 9in. (22.8cm.) diameter. (2)
* Condition: A piece broken from the rim is replaced / restored, leaving a hairline crack across the edge, glaze rubbing to rim; dish with tiny nibbles to foot.
