A George IV mahogany chiffonier, possibly Scottish, shaped cresting carved with acanthus scrolls, above a rectangular superstructure, the projecting base with long drawer and a pair of panelled doors, flanked by acanthus-grasped pillars, beaded borders, fluted bun feet, 134cm high, 97cm wide, 44.5cm deep, c.1825
In overall rather good condition, having a lovely deep colour of mahogany, with good figure. The top has a couple of small stains, and light scratches, please see the additional images for details. The Bobbin-turned beading has some small broken sections, but these sections are mostly present in the drawer.
