A GWR cabside numberplate, 2271, from a 2251 Class 0-6-0 built at Swindon in August 1934. Allocated to Carmarthen by January 1948, it then moved to Machynlleth, working on Cambrian lines, finishing its days at Neyland and Fishguard (Goodwick) with a final spell back at Machynlleth from where it was withdrawn in September 1962 and sold for scrap to Hayes at Bridgend.
