An impressive Victory Models model of a 3-masted Royal Naval Sloop H.M.S. Fly (1776). Fully detailed rigging, with 8 canon to both port and starboard, capstan, figurehead, red Ensign etc. Length over bowsprit 82cm. Height over main mast 66.5cm. Displayed on a basic wooden stand. NOTE: She performed mainly convoy escort duties during the French Revolutionary Wars, though she did capture three privateers. She foundered and was lost with all hands early in 1802. VGC £60-80
