LATE NINETEENTH/ EARLY TWENTIETH CENTURY BRASS MOUNTED OAK CASED SCHOOL MASTER CLOCK, the 10" silvered dial with engraved centre and surround of forty eight short, sliding brass pegs, powered by an eight day movement striking on a gong, and housed in a flat back case with double cornice, chamfered sides and moulded base, the front and sides applied with foliate pierced brass panels, 31" (78.7cm) high, 24" (61cm) wide, (as found, movement associated and glazed door missing)
