The cream silk banner with gilt fringes, centred by Saint Agnes depicted in high-relief holding a lamb, symbolising her purity, and a palm frond symbolising her martyrdom. The reverse with a sword and palm frond crossed, suspended from a brass pole, 62" x 36" (158 x 91cm).
