£130
George III mahogany bureau, circa 1780, the slope front opening to an attractive configuration of pigeonholes and drawers around a central cupboard door, fitted with two short and three long drawers, with brass swan neck handles, within reeded quarter pilasters and raised on ogee bracket feet, width 110cm, height 113cm, depth 54cm
There are a number of old scratches and gouges to the top (see images). There are repairs to the rear bracket feet. The slope is in good condition with a good colour and patina.
Inside is clean. The central door has a key which works. The slope also has a key that works. The handles and escutcheons appear to be original. There is no key for the drawers.
An all over uniform colour throughout.
Overall a good example in a presentable condition with good colour and patination.
