1953 Coronation issue, three artists drawings for a 2½d stamp in ink, each 144-153x86mm on watermarked wove paper, 203x126mm. The essays numbered "1" and inscribed "Floral Emblems too fussy" or numbered "2" and inscribed "use Imperial Crown from (1) at right", the third essay entitled "Alternative" with the vertical height of the stamp shown as 1". Three unique essays believed to be by M. Farrar-Bell, essay number "2" almost identical to the issued 1/6 stamp. (3). Photo on Page 8.
