S.E.5a walnut 4 bladed propeller boss with 8 Days clock centrally mounted, 8 fixing bolt holes. Outside of boss marked SE5A, 200 HP/ HISPANO SU17 and T28096, clock face measures 10cm, Maple leaf pattern engraved around clock, clock with key in working order. There is an 11cm chip to the side at the top. This clock was the property of Thomas Frederick Reading RFC/RAF. It is not clear if it came from a plane he crashed or elsewhere. (See photo) (½B)
