A late 19th Century Majolica cheese dish and cover decorated in relief with leaves and flowers over a blue ground, the base with a tortoiseshell centre, unmarked, possibly George Jones, base diameter 31.5cm, S/D.
There is chipping to the underside of the base, crazed and various surface scuffs to the raised decoration.
