An unusual Martin Bros stoneware grotesque bulb pot, dated 1907,
modelled as a head with holes at the ears and mouth, decorated in brown and red pigments and partially salt-glazed with a red wash to the unglazed foot, incised mark R W Martin Bros London & Southall // 2-1907, possibly a trial piece,
14cm high
Some minor wear to areas including the edge of the foot otherwise in good condition with no restoration chips or cracks.
