Both with good bright gilding, a number of surface scuffs and scratches throughout one shows some cracking and old repair to the left eagles head terminal and slight separation of the joints at the other end. Both show separation of the timbers where the large scrolls meet the bases of the central laurel reefs. Both with a gold painted finish to the backs and later metal mounting fixtures
