Very rare museum quality thuringen plaque signed by wagnerand. A stunning quality porcelain hand painted plaque. It is signed wagner on the bottom right hand corner. He was one of the very best artists ever to paint on porcelain. The subject is very well known a very pretty young lady called Ruth. The factory details are also on the back as shown. Thplaque is so well painted by wagner the best that you will see. The plaque is 10.5" by 7.5" wid. The plaque shows well just how good wagner could paint it is really magnificent. It was valued many years ago by a london auction house at over £2000 and many examples by wagner are in museums nd collections all over the world. It also features in a hard back book on plaques by sean shakrovski and vera rininberg which will be included in the sale.
