A VICTORIAN ROSEWOOD AND EBONISED CASED MANTEL CLOCK, the drum shaped clock case with foliate surmount, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, marked for J. W. Benson, 62, Ludgate Hill, 64, LONDON', eight day movement, bell strike, the movement marked 'J.W.B 21139', the base of the clock case of rectangular form with scrolls, height 27cm x width 32.5cm, with pendulum and key (Condition Report: the rear door of the case has extensive damage, there is a scuff to the top of the surmount and a piece of the carving missing, the clock winds, runs, chimes but not on the correct hour, the underside of the case has had restoration)
