A 60 bore flintlock pocket pistol with spring bayonet, c 1820, turn off barrel 2½", the muzzle starred for barrel key, with spring bayonet on the right released by a thumb catch on the frame, B'ham proved, the frame engraved with trophies, with raised pan, top safety which locks the frizzen, hidden trigger (missing), and rounded chequered butt with lozenge shaped silver escutcheon. Basically GC with dark patina (some deep pitting). £250-300
