A 19TH CENTURY JAPANESE MEIJI PERIOD SATSUMA PORCELAIN DISH, decorated with circular and rectangular panels of a landscape, birds on a branch, flowers and a scene of a naked male figure washing a horse with other figures seated by a bucket, within an iron red and gilt scroll ground, the reverse painted with convulvulous and green base with iron red square to centre painted with four gilt character marks, extensive firing cracks and hairlines with stained star crack to underside, diameter 39cm (condition: fitted with metal plate hanger and chain, various firing cracks and stained hairlines)
