R.M.S. TITANIC: Third Class passenger and victim Malkolm Johnson collection. Mr Johnson's personal signet ring, that was recovered from his person after the disaster and listed on the official inventory of his effects. The copper alloy ring is a unique relic from the Titanic disaster. Malkolm was born 20th March 1879 and worked in US.. in the construction industry. He'd previously returned to Sweden to purchase a farm at Bjorkaryd but failed to complete purchase and was returning to the U.S. on Titanic. He died in the sinking and his body was recovered by Mackay Bennett #37. Malkolm was buried in Fairview Cemetery Nova Scotia alongside other Titanic victims.
