An Italian burr maple and marquetry metamorphic games table, late 20th century, the square top with clipped corners, with a floral marquetry panel within kingwood floral marquetry borders, over a conforming frieze, the removable top with an inlaid backgammon board to the underside, a further removable panel beneath with a reversible chess board and baize playing surface, a further surface beneath with stained inlaid roulette board, sliding to reveal a roulette wheel and card/counter storage beneath, with chips and chess and draughts sets, raised on square tapered swept legs, 30¼in. (76.8cm.) square, 29½in. (75cm.) high.
