British MkII steel helmet painted khaki with stencilled 'LMS' (London Midland Scottish Railway). Lettering stencilled in yellow to front & rear. Helmet recovered from Manchester Piccadilly railway Station. Several areas of projectile damage. Possibly used by rail worker or railway company Home Guard. Complete with liner and chinstrap, old style liner with oval pad, stamped Vero 1938. Being sold as part of a private collection.
