A worksplate THE HUNSLET ENGINE Co Ltd. 6664 of 1969. From a standard gauge 325HP 0-6-0 diesel-hydraulic locomotive new to the National Coal Board at Granville Colliery, Oakengates, Shropshire, as No 2D. Later overhauled at the NCB Walkden workshops, Lancashire and despatched from there on 10th January 1980 to Bersham Colliery, near Wrexham. Transferred on 4th March 1980 to Point of Ayr Colliery, Talacre. Sold for scrap in March 1985 to Marple & Gillott Ltd and moved to their Sheffield yard where it was scrapped in April 1985. Cast brass, 11¼"x8", the front repainted. (Postage Band: B)
