A Chinese famille rose porcelain bowl, the base with iron-red 'Shende Tang Zhi' four character mark, finely painted in gilt embellished polychrome enamels with gnarled branches of cherry blossom and flowering narcissus 14.5 cm diameter 
Shende Tang is the Hall of Prudent Virtue within the Yuan Ming Yuan complex, the summer residence of the Daoguang Emperor (1821-50) this mark was also used during the Republic Period (1912-1949)
