The Ferrari F355 was built by Ferrari from May 1994 to 1999, and was an evolution of the Ferrari 348. It is a mid-engined, rear wheel drive, V8-powered two-seat Coupe, Targa, or Convertible. Design emphasis for the F355 was placed on significantly improved performance, as well as drivability across a wider range of speeds and in different environments.
In 1995, Ferrari introduced the GTS model to the F355 family. The GTS model was based on the Berlinetta but offered a removable Targa-style hard top roof, which could be stored behind the seats. Other specifications were identical to the Berlinetta. A total of 2,577 GTS models were produced, with 2,048 delivered with the 6-speed transmission and another 529 with the F1 transmission. This was the last GTS Targa style model produced by Ferrari.
This beautiful Ferrari has had a Major Service, including Cambelts and Engine Detailed which was carried out in November 2015 at 46,046 Miles and a cost of £5683.33. Further work hasbeen carried out by Lancasters Ferrari, who replaced the rear shock absorbers at a cost of £2844. The car comes with comprehensive history, with roughly 15 to 20 service stamps and additional bills.
The car is in excellent condition, with faultless paintwork, and the interior is in outstanding condition. There are no sticky parts. The car is said to drive perfectly and has just had a new MOT.
