A Chinese porcelain plaque attributed to He Xuren (1882-1940), signed He Xuren and inscribed upper right, rectangular, finely painted and enamelled with a wintry landscape, a moored punt and snow covered bridge to the foreground and a temple, forest and snow capped mountains distant, 6 7/8 x 4 3/8in. (17.5 x 11.1cm.), unframed. Dirt to margins from earlier framing. No chips or cracks to the front, painted face. There are a couple of small old shallow chips to the back edges of the plaque, but these were possibly caused during the making. Good condition.
