Four fans of fontange form, the first mounted on wood sticks painted a dark cream, carved and curved in Art Nouveau fashion, with flowers of turquoise and cream outlined in silver, the double gauze leaf painted with a central spray of blue flowers adorned with small sequins, having a border in two shades of blue, this with larger silver sequins, the verso plain, overall height approx25.5 cm; together with a fan leaf mounted on wood sticks painted light grey, featuring a large elephant trumpeting, in the jungle, painted on black gauze, overall height approx. 25.5cm; the third fan, of cream gauze painted with pink flowers and mounted on cream celluloid sticks, overall height approx. 22cm; a final fan, cream gauze embroidered with gold sequins, the monture of lightly incised and piqué bone, over all height approx. 19cm
