A dainty early 20th century fan, the monture a combination of shaped bone gorge sticks and beige celluloid guards, pierced and slightly coloured, the silk leaf painted in very stylized fashion with a 20’s lady in summer dress taking in the perfume of her floral bouquet, the image reminiscent of fashion prints of the day, sadly unsigned, the reserves with foliage in unequal bands of lime green and shades of blue, the verso a layer of cream gauze, contained in a simple cream card fan box, guard approx. 21cm
The leaf is starting to split just to the right of centre, and the upper edge is partly damaged.
