A worksplate, LONDON NORTH EASTERN RAILWAY, 1777, DONCASTER, 1932, from a LNER O2 Class 2-8-0 No 2958 built at Doncaster in July 1932, renumbered 3951 in 1946, becoming BR 63951. A long time Doncaster engine, it finished its days at Retford from where it was withdrawn in June 1962 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Fully engraved brass, 13½"x7¾", lightly polished, the back stamped with loco numbers, a dent to the rim, top left. (Postage Band: C)
