An impressive original Marcel Lindsay (Irish contemporary b.1968) framed display of acrylic on acrylic paper paintings titled "Irish Coastal Scenes," in Lindsay's typical intense atmospheric style with dramatic sweeping skies in rich contrasting tones of blues, oranges and greens. Initialed M.L. bottom right of each, signed and titled to verso. Housed in a lovely white frame.
Lindsay (b.1968), is a Dublin born artist who took up painting in 2018 following a holiday to West Cork. Working primarily in acrylic and pen, his paintings powerfully capture the mood and colour of the sea, allowing the Dublin coastline to feed the narrative of his work.
