brown leather, rectangular, pocket map case.  Top flap secured by leather tab and alloy buckle.   Interior pouch and 7 pencil compartments.  Rear with leather belt loops with alloy buckles.  Interior of flap with maker's details, dated 1938 and issue stamps.
