Two Chinese bamboo opium pipes, 19th century - the bamboo stems with brass and copper mounts, earthenware bowls and ivory mouth and end pieces, one 37cm long (Ivory Registration) D5RHADU1) , the other 41.75cm long (Ivory Registration 3DSB2VUY)

More Information

* Condition:
- Pipe 1 (plain copper bowl mount): Good condition overall. No splits or cracks. The fitting on the underside of the bowl is possibly a later replacement - it is very uniform and does not fit into the top of the pipe fitting very snugly,
- Pipe 2 (shaped copper & brass bowl mount): There is a split to the left side of the pipe, almost along the full length. There is also a shorter crack to the other side. Old natural cracks to the ivory terminal to the pipe.
- Both pipe bowls are in good condition with no chips or cracks.
