A.H. McIntosh teak extending dining table and set of ten chairs. 73 x 241 x 90cm. (11)
One side of the table has a round white cup mark. The other side looks more worn, with some water marks and a section of the edge that is paler in colour, with some tiny bubbling of the finish along the grain. The central leaves are slightly darker than the rest of the table, but not significantly so.
One carver has a broken rear stretcher. The other carver has some glue/wax/ something similar on the seat, which has a whiteish cast and stiff feeling. One of the chairs, the glue between the back and the sides has come away and the back wiggles. The other chairs have some signs of use, scratches and small dents, mostly to the legs. Generally the upholstery is worn at the corners.
