A gilt-metal (probably silver gilt) Renaissance style goblet; probably 17th/18th century, the bowl with gilded interior and decorated in high relief with twin cherubic heads above swags and below 'C' scrolls, the stem unusually decorated in a similar vein but with the heads upside-down above a circular reeded knop leading down to spreading foot with similar decoration of cherubic heads interspersed with urns in relief echoing the stem below, early style raised strapwork, slightly stepped flower-head style base, engraved to the underside edge of the foot with initials A.M.M (24cm high, the foot 16.5cm diameter, the diameter of the bowl 9cm, with signs of age)
