Three substantial original watercolour drawings of the proposed Wellington Bridge, Limerick signed "Howth 27 Oct. 1813 John Aird". When constructed it was named Wellesley bridge and in the late 1880s, Sarsfield Bridge. Smallest 38in x 25in. Aird was resident engineer on the construction of Dunleary Harbour, the Custom House Dock and several roads in Ireland.
