Japanese polychrome Imari style charger, painted to the front and reverse with Dragon roundels and scroll framed Ho-ho birds, with alternating stylised polychrome clouds and Dragons to the reverse. Five spur marks to the base, along with a four character mark in overglazed iron red. 47cm diameter approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT)
Wear to the gilding on the rim. Firing flaws to the reverse but no obvious damage.
No obvious damage, hence no signs of restoration.
