£250
ST GEORGES HOSPITAL POISON BOTTLE. 5.5ins tall. Ice blue glass, triangular shape bottle raised dots 2 sides, 1 plain to accommodate label embossed near base ST GEORGES/ HOSPITAL. Exceptionally rare offering for the dedicated poison followers. Unlisted in 'Deadly Pleasures'. St Georges Hospital (now in Tooting) was founded in 1733. This is only the ninth triangular example recorded. Solomon May registered one in 1859, but John Martins reg no 334745 was registered in 1899 and is closer - could this be a more practical version of that? Fabulous condition. (9/10) NR £300-400+
