German Third Reich SA Stormtrooper dagger by scarce maker Albert Mebus, Solingen A good clean example with nickel plated mounts, the blade etched Alles fur Deutschland and bearing makers AMSO round logo. Crossguard stamped Nm (SA Group Nordmark) and overstamped 13/19353. Brown wooden grip inlaid with silvered eagle and swastika and enamelled circular SA device and impressed 3. Housed brown anodised scabbard with nickel mounts, the top mount stamped 13/19353 and with single suspension ring retaining brown leather strap with spring clip stamped with RZM logo, M5/71 and OLC diamond logo (Overhoff & Cie, Ludenscheid). Minor service wear, blade top perhaps retipped, scabbard with minor dents. Generally GCC. SA (Sturmabteilung) Brown Shirts dagger introduced in 1933.
