A works numberplate, No 61378, 1951, from a (LNER) B1 Class 4-6-0 built by the North British Locomotive Co, Works No 26837, and allocated new to Colwick in May 1951. Its later sheds were Stratford, Parkeston and March from where it was withdrawn in November 1963 and cut up at Doncaster Works. Engraved brass, 12¼"x6½", ex loco condition. (Postage Band: B)
