A rare Franz Bergmann Austrian cold-painted bronze matchbox / taperstick holder. Modelled as an owl perched on a branch issuing from the stump. Stamped 'Bergmann Geschutz' beneath. 15.2 cm height.
Condition report: Some surface wear with age. The owl wired down due to one rod missing connecting the owl to the branch.
