A GEORGE V REPRODUCTION OF "THE CASSEL BEAKER". circular, with a slightly tapering body and 10 applied vertical ribs around the lower body*, by S. Blackensee & Son Ltd, Birmingham 1924; 3.25" (8.3cm) high; 8.9ozt

*The original, made in silvergilt, is the earliest English beaker and one of the oldest surviving pieces of English plate to be fully marked with a maker's mark, date letter & leopard's head and is displayed in the V&A museum. *CR A bit bright & polished and both the top and bottom rim a bit dented, some black pitting to the interior
