An early 19th century oak eight-day longcase clock by Pearce of Stratford - the signed, painted arched Roman dial with subsidiary seconds and calendar dials, floral painted spandrels and painted castle landscape to the arch, the bell strike movement with anchor escapement, the case with swan neck top on plain turned columns, the trunk with double peaked arched door flanked by fluted quarter columns, over a panelled base with canted corners, 226 cm high.
