The Fiat 500 was a city car produced by the Italian manufacturer Fiat between 1957 and 1975. Launched as the Nuova 500 in July 1957, it was a cheap and practical town car. Measuring only 2.97 metres (9 feet 9 inches) long, and originally powered by an appropriately sized 479 cc two-cylinder, air-cooled engine, the 500 redefined the term "small car" and is considered one of the first city cars. The Autobianchi Giardiniera is a supermini produced by the Italian automaker Autobianchi, based on the Fiat 500 Giardiniera. It was available in various configurations: station wagon and van. Cars were produced from 1970 to 1977. It was also marketed as the Autobianchi Bianchina Giardiniera.
This Giardiniera is described by the vendor to be in top condition throughout, and is finished in the very desirable Positano yellow. The car runs and drives as it did when it was new. It was recently imported from Italy where it was always dry stored. The vendor has recently had new kingpin assemblies fitted and a new set of door rubbers.
These cars are getting more and more desirable among the collectors.
