The Henry & Tricia Byrom Collection - a gilt metal mounted ebonised table clock with basket top, circa 1690, with twin fusee movement, repeating mechanism removed, converted to anchor escapement, the 7-inch dial with calendar aperture, unsigned, 17.5ins. (44.5cms.) high (with handle raised). Provenance - bought at Sotheby's, 19 July 1995, lot 797.
