** WAR OF THE AUSTRIAN SUCCESSION - ORIGINAL FRENCH DECLARATION OF WAR WALL POSTER; 7 Apr. 1744 large printed sheet (17x23 ins.; understandable folds and minor reinforcing in places) headed "ORDONNANCE DU ROY, PORTANT DECLARATION DE GUERRE CONTRE LE ROY D'ANGLETERRE" with a text detailing the reasons for the declaration and accusing the English of piracy, blockading ports, etc. This was in the context of the French having attempted an Invasion of England in January 1744! Extremely Rare survival.
