24th Light Dragoons silver regimental medal 1801, the oval piece set into a milled rounded border, 70mm x 55mm. Obverse "24th Regt of Light Dragoons" surrounding the arms of Lord Bentinck. Reverse "For Merit Won by Sergt J Chapman. The Gift of Lieut Col Lord Wm Bentinck 3 June 1801" (Balmer R112), NVF (enraving rubbed, slight gap between piece and rim at top).
