A LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH PORCELAIN CASED MANTEL CLOCK OF ROCOCO STYLE, enamel dial with blue Roman numerals, eight day movement with bell strike, movement stamped S. Marti, the case with blue glazed sides, hand painted with a floral spray below the dial, with pendulum, comes with a giltwood stand and a 19th Century glass dome on an ebonised and inlaid rectangular base with four turned feet, height of clock 31cm, overall height 46cm (Condition report: no key, clock winds, chimes but three hours behind, firing crack at the front bottom edge which is visible, some chipping around winding holes, a number of the flower petals are chipped, the gilding is worn in places, the glass dome has a 2cm long x 0.5cm high chip on the bottom edge , the ebonised stand has cracks, splits and veneer loss)
