A scarce late 19th century Eley "The Expert" clay pigeon trap, the cast iron base marked "The Expert/4/Pat'd. Mch.1. 1892" and Eley Bros Ltd London Eng/Made in USA", the arm operated by an adjustable spring, the release mechanism operated by a lanyard via a pulley, adjustable vertically, and horizontally by a lever and cog, mounted on a circular wooden base with bolt holes for securing it.
