An Account of The Grand Music Festival Held in The Cathedral Church of York in September 1823 by John Crosse - York 1825- Has 7 pages preface and prelims, 434 pages, 26 pages Appendix, 1 page Additions & Corrections - The 3 hand coloured plates are: View (frontispiece), The Orchestra, plan of York Minster, plus view and an uncoloured New Concert Room (folding) Pages 435 & 436 are later replacement sheet, thus reflected in reasonable price for this great work - Sub titled; "For the Benefit of the York County Hospital & the General Infirmaries at Leeds, Hull & Sheffield, to which is prefixed a stetch of the rise and progress of Musical Festivals in Great Britain" - Also extensively detailing each, concert the composers pieces played and sung, audience turnout, orchestra players and singers names etc- In large original marble board binding with cloth spine, size 10" x 13.5"
