A FIRST WORLD WAR PAIR TO THE WEST RIDING REGIMENT. A Great War Pair comprising War Medal and Victory Medal named to 23870 Pte W. Amer W.Rid R. Private William Amer from Blackpool served with the 1/4th 8th, 9th and 5th Battalions of the Duke of Wellington's (West Riding Regiment) he is recorded as having been wounded on the 20th June 1918 and on the 22nd of August being entitled to a wound stripe on both occasions. *CR Tarnish and surfaces marks to both medals. A lot fee of £8 inc. VAT will be charged on top of the hammer price and BP on all lots.
