A Chinese parcel gilt silver ceremonial crown, late 19th/early 20th century. Embossed with a central flaming pearl flanked by confronting phoenixes amongst clouds to one side with the other side depicting three equidistant figures against a backdrop of confronting dragons amongst clouds. Displayed on a later made bespoke wooden stand, 20th century. 29 cm diameter of crown. 59 cm height including stand. Weight of crown: 515 grams.
Condition report: Surface wear with age and dented finial
