A 19th Century mahogany library armchair in the Regency style, with green painted highlights, reeded and tapered pilaster capitals and carved rosette detail, raised to sabre front legs with applied brass castors, stamped with serial number S16145 and also bearing a hand-written paper label, '24 Oct 1835, R.K. Rotherham, Mayor', height of back of chair 93cm, seat height 45cm and width across the arms 64cm, some damage.

The front right castor is loose and the front left castor is detached but is present. Some scuffs and minor dents around the frame.
